TROPICANA-LVlogoIn concert with a comprehensive rebranding and revitalization effort, the Tropicana Las Vegas hotel-casino recently unveiled its new logo. The free-form logo replaces the previous diamond visual that had been used for more than two decades.

Recently acquired by the Onex Corp. and led by company Chairman and CEO Alex Yemenidjian, the Tropicana will undergo a $125 million renovation that will include the redesign of every room, the casino and the pool area. There will also be new restaurants, bars, a new poker room and nightclub.

"The new company logo will serve as a roadmap for our entire transformation," Yemenidjian said. "From the Havana-inspired font to the lively color palette and unique arrangement, this image was designed to represent our vision of excitement, sensuality, rhythm and style.

"The unveiling of this new company logo marks the beginning of a complete renovation and rebranding of the property with an energizing South Beach, Miami feel. The new Tropicana Las Vegas will have a hot Havana-like vibe with pulsating music, live salsa dancers, bright tropical colors and a sizzling nightlife scene."

The 1,800-room Tropicana Las Vegas, open since 1957, features five restaurants, the 850-seat Tiffany Theater, three swimming pools and a 61,000-square-foot casino. Call (702) 739-2222 or log on to www.tropicanalv.com.
