award more than $1 million of free travel to its customers.
This promotion is to commemorate the one-millionth visitor to
11th Hour's Internet site since the company's reorganization in
September.
The company's more than 42,000 registered members and customers
each will receive a $25 gift certificate to be used as a discount
on any new vacation or cruise booked before June 30.
11th Hour Vacations' Web site contains an up-to-date catalog of
unsold vacations that enables customers traveling on short notice
to take advantage of the inventory. In some cases, quality packages
can be purchased for up to 70% to 90% under their market value.
After reviewing or choosing a package, the site also enables
visitors to register their personal destination preferences. This
results in the customer receiving an e-mail notification when a
matching plan becomes available.
11th Hour has recently garnered media attention. It was selected
as one of the top five Web sites for last-minute travel bargains by
USA Today and was featured on the "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee"
television program.
