Adventures by Disney will operate two new itineraries to Switzerland and Greece next year.
The itineraries are billed as opportunities to enjoy majestic landscapes and ancient architecture. Each departure will be led by Disney-trained guides and will include experiences just for children. Bookings open May 9.
The eight-day Switzerland itinerary will take travelers to the same villages that inspired Walt Disney, who visited the country many times with his wife Lillian. Highlights include indulging in Switzerland's culinary scene with gruyere cheese, fondue and chocolates; a private tour of Chateau de Chillon, a medieval castle on Lake Geneva; and an after-hours event at the Olympic Museum, which inspired Disney Parks' pin-trading tradition.
The tour operator will offer nine departures: six for families and three for adults only.

The Greece itinerary will feature eight days of myths and ancient history. The itinerary includes exploring the Acropolis of Athens, which was home to the Parthenon; exploring Mycenae, which was the first true Greek civilization; snorkeling and kayaking over the submerged archaeological site of Epidaurus; and visiting the medieval city of Rhodes and the Colossus of Rhodes, where the giant statue of Greek sun god Helios once stood.
Adventures by Disney will operate 10 departure dates for the itinerary: including six for families and four for adults only.
Bookings open May 9.
