Apple Leisure Group acquires CheapCaribbean.com: Travel Weekly

Apple Leisure Group has acquired CheapCaribbean.com, an online wholesaler that sells resort accommodations and vacation packages to the Caribbean and Mexico.

CheapCaribbean.com will operate as a separate, wholly-owned entity within Apple Leisure Group.

Josh Paine will continue to run CheapCaribbean.com, reporting directly to Alex Zozaya, CEO of Apple Leisure Group.

CheapCaribbean ranked No. 24 on Travel Weekly's 2013 Power List with sales of $390 million in 2012.

Apple Leisure Group includes Apple Vacations; Travel Impressions; AMResorts; AMStar, a destination management company, and Unlimited Vacation Club, a travel club that offers stays at AMResorts properties.
