Collette has launched an advance commission payment program to help support travel advisors during the pandemic.
Under its Advanced Commission Program, Collette will pay $100 in advance for land-only bookings, $125 for land and air bookings and $200 for any booking that includes Collette's Travel Protection Plan.
Amid the challenges the pandemic presents to travel advisors, a positive trend has emerged.
The program will run through Dec. 31, 2021, and will
be applicable for all departures from May 1, 2021, and beyond.
Collette said the advance commissions will be paid upon receipt of deposits. The balance of the commission will be paid when the clients travel. If they cancel, the advance payment will not be recalled, the company said.
The company said it developed the program in collaboration with preferred partners.
