Far & Wide Travel Corp., Miami, in its second acquisition in 10
days, purchased Vernon Hills, Ill.-based Prism Holidays, an
11-year-old escorted group operator specializing in educational and
cultural tours for the "mature traveler."
The company, which sells direct to consumers, will expand its
marketing to travel agents.
