Grand Adventures requests report extension from SEC

AUSTIN, Texas -- Grand Adventures Tour & Travel Publishing Corp. requested an automatic extension from the Securities and Exchange Commission for the filing of its third-quarter report.

The management expects to report a net loss of more than $1.5 million for the third quarter.

Company executives attribute the loss to continuing problems associated with the previously announced failure of a software system. The firm is in legal action against the developer of the software.
