MILWAUKEE -- The Mark Travel Corp. created a customer support team
for each of its brands, designed so that agents can get help by
making just one phone call.
Jim Barsch, senior vice president of operations for TMTC, said
the program "will help complete the company's 'beginning-to-end'
vision of supplying superior customer service and providing
passengers with ultimate satisfaction."
Agents and customers are offered pretrip help from the support
desk without transfers to other departments. If a solution is not
found on the call, travelers receive a call-back from the original
contact, who will remain the point person until the issue is
resolved, the company said.
Questions handled by the desk include those about documents,
payments, confirmation and electronic distribution (when the CRS is
not able to perform a required function).
