WESTPORT, Conn. -- Tauck World Discovery is launching a new series
of 10 escorted tours in North America and Europe under the title
Personal Discovery.
The programs are distinguished from Tauck's traditional products
by longer hotel stays, three and four nights per destination;
concentration on smaller regions; increased free time; and
flexibility of scheduled activities.
Itineraries are built in hub-and-spoke configurations six, seven
or eight nights long, designed for younger travelers with shorter
vacation times. Participants are given a choices of various
activities for any given time, though all activities are included
in the price of the tour.
European itineraries include Tuscany, Umbria and Florence;
London and Paris; London, Bath and Cotswolds; Madrid, Andalucia and
the Paradors; and Vienna and Salzburg.
North American itineraries will be New York, Boston and Newport;
Niagara Falls, Toronto and Montreal; San Francisco, Sonoma and Napa
Valley; Grand Canyon, Sedona and Las Vegas; and Santa Fe,
Albuquerque and Taos.
