International timeshare company, Wyndham
Vacation Ownership, has acquired Activities-4-Less, a Maui-based
purveyor of discount tourist activities.
According to the
company, the acquisition was completed to establish a permanent
sales and marketing operation on Maui.
The sale includes
its main sales center and 10 satellite locations. Terms of the sale
of the 8-year-old, privately held company were not
disclosed.
Establishing
permanent sales and marketing operations in Maui is tremendously
significant because it advances our strategy to continue growing
our portfolio of products and services in Hawaii for years to come,
Franz Hanning, president and CEO of Wyndham Vacation Ownership,
said in a statement.
In addition to
selling attractions and tours, Activities-4-Less has been serving
as a timeshare sales and marketing agent for Wyndham Vacation
Resorts for more than two years.
