ABC Global Services is acquiring CCRA.
Boca Raton, Fla.-based ABC is the provider of the Premier Hotel Program, which offers negotiated rates for more than 50,000 hotels to a primarily corporate agency clientele, as well as the ezBookPro web-based hotel booking engine for agents.
CCRA, based in Fort Worth, offers some overlapping programs but tilts more to leisure agencies and includes services for suppliers.
A cornerstone of CCRA's offerings for agents and host agencies is the TRUE Code, which permits access to its resources and utilization of its TripSet booking engine. CCRA also offers a supplier membership option, as well as air and hotel programs.
"Bringing together the largest corporate and leisure programs is an opportunity for our joint team to deliver ever-increasing value to our agency clients and hotel partners in an unprecedented way," Dic Marxen, president and CEO of CCRA, said in a statement.
A media statement said that the acquisition should be helpful for the industry to recover from the coronavirus crisis. Existing and new ABC and CCRA hotel partners, it said, can expect to see benefits including reduced participation fees, package discounts, marketing inclusions and increased distribution opportunities.
The company will continue to offer travel management companies and agencies its hotel and air programs, supplier network, after-hours services, ezBookPro, hotel consulting and sourcing division HotelCONNEX, the TRUE Code, live conferences around North America, event and meeting planning and account management.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
