LOWELL, Mass. -- Action 6, a network of 2,300 travel agencies here,
signed a deal with Todd Travel Promotions, an East Setauket,
N.Y.-based distribution company, to produce an InfoCentre
directory.
The focus of the directory, which is slated for a mid-February
release, will be to promote and distribute preferred sales support
materials to members of Action 6.
"This directory of our preferred suppliers will make it easy for
our members' agencies to receive sales support materials using a
one-stop shopping concept," said Jane Coakley, president of Action
6. For our suppliers, it reduces expenses and targets Action 6
preferred agencies."
All sales support materials ordered by travel agents through the
InfoCentre are recognized by the preferred supplier stickers on the
cover of every brochure. Orders will be shipped within 48 hours of
the request, Coakley said.
