American Queen Steamboat Co. (AQSC) and its sister company, Victory Cruise Lines, have launched a travel agent training program.

"Our travel partners are critical to the success of both American Queen Steamboat Co. and Victory Cruise Lines," John Waggoner, CEO and founder of AQSC, said in announcing the certification program this week.

"Following the many challenges of 2020, we wanted to create a program that empowers our partners to successfully and confidently navigate all aspects of our cruise offerings. This new Academy allows us to further connect with agents and educate them on our latest policy updates and offerings, including enhanced health and safety, flexible booking policies and our new vessels, the American Countess for AQSC and Ocean Victory for VCL."

The program, which can be found at MyCruiseAcademy.com or on the companies' travel agent portal, is made up of 12 on-demand training modules.

Agents who complete the certification will receive a logo for use in their email signatures and on their website as well as access to reduced rates and webinars and exclusive invitations to fam trips.
