Tokio Marine HCC has acquired travel insurance comparison
site InsureMyTrip for an undisclosed price.
Tokio Marine HCC sells a number of insurance products,
including individual and group travel insurance plans.
InsureMyTrip said it would remain an unbiased comparison
site.
“As the nation’s largest unbiased resource for travel
insurance, we look forward to expanding our business globally with Tokio Marine
HCC,” InsureMyTrip CEO Jim Grace said in a statement. “This new agreement
allows us to increase the visibility of our brand and bolster our
consumer-centric technology in order to better serve our travelers.”
