Faye Travel Insurance has introduced three tiers of customizable insurance plans to offer travelers more flexibility, broader coverage and higher limits.
Faye First is "essential core coverage," the insurer said. Faye recommends it for domestic trips. Faye Forward is recommended for international trips. It has increased coverage limits and broader protection. Faye Flagship offers the highest coverage limits and is recommended for complex, multi-leg or luxury trips.
The plans are now available in the Faye Advisor Portal. They will be available via Faye's website, API and app this month.
"Each new plan offers whole-trip protection, with increasing levels of coverage, higher limits and expanded benefits," said Faye's head of partnerships, Jennifer Grawey.
They all include 24/7 access to Faye's support team and the Faye app, which features flight alerts and digital claim filing.
"The goal: putting proactive support and instant assistance directly in travelers' hands," Grawey added.
In addition to the new tiers, Faye has launched a Cancel For Work Reasons add-on. The supplemental coverage will reimburse up to 100% of nonrefundable trip costs for cancellations related to work reasons, like an involuntary job transfer or unexpectedly having to work.
