Travel insurance provider Faye has made it easier for travel advisors to quote prices for groups.
The insurer has updated its travel advisor portal with a new roster quoting feature. According to Faye, it enables advisors to generate multiple insurance quotes for groups of 10 or more "in just a few clicks," as opposed to generating individual quotes for each traveler.
Faye has also added the ability for advisors to file claims on behalf of their clients and track each claim's status. And, the insurer said advisors can now change dates and destinations in their dashboard and no longer have to cancel a quote and start over.
Additionally, Faye has added family pricing. The "budget-friendly plan rates" are applicable to travel parties with children under 18 and can currently be booked for residents in about 20 states. The pricing will be rolled out in more states in phases.
This year, Faye plans on introducing a number of new features and perks, including lounge access and loyalty programs, luxury-focused products and an enhanced in-app flight center for tracking flight updates.
Jennifer Grawey, Faye's head of partnerships, said a Faye survey indicated 33% of travelers plan to use a travel advisor this year, looking to advisors most for budget management, travel insurance and full itinerary booking.
"With travel protection ranking high on travelers' priorities, it's clear that advisors play a critical role in helping clients feel secure and well-prepared," Grawey said in a release. "That's why we are committed to meeting the needs of both our loyal customers and the travel advisors who support them."
