EntreTravel, a standalone travel advisor training program, has made its business-planning module available free of charge.
The company, co-founded by Jeremy Sulek and Lindsey Epperly, has also reduced the price of its full online training course from $2,500 to $249 per student.
EntreTravel said while its course was originally geared toward newer ICs, its content at the reduced price could benefit advisors regardless of where they are in their career, especially in the current climate.
Epperly is the founder and CEO of Epperly Travel. Sulek, formerly a financial analyst with Merrill Lynch, is Epperly Travel's COO.
"The mission of EntreTravel has always been to serve our industry as a whole," Epperly said. "We believed that by ensuring the entire course was more accessible, we could provide others with the opportunity to arm themselves with strong business practices. Those entrepreneurial skills are needed now more than ever."
