Global Travel Collection (GTC) this week unveiled its Path Forward plan, organizational changes meant to drive the host agency and its advisors successfully ahead.
GTC is the luxury division of Internova Travel Group, No. 9 on Travel Weekly's 2022 Power List.
The Path Forward includes a new account management structure, additional technology solutions and business development tools.
"It will drive maximum growth potential for advisors and successional planning for those who seek it, while offering career progression for its valued employees and more productive partnerships to increase revenue opportunities with valued suppliers," GTC said in a release.
The Path Forward is expected to be fully implemented by the third quarter of this year.
GTC has created Advisor Success teams to help increase engagement, retention and portfolio growth, among other endeavors. Smaller groups of agents will be assigned a manager who will advocate for and work with them. The success teams will work with all of GTC's advisors, including those focused on corporate travel, leisure travel and entertainment and production travel.
Additionally, GTC has put in place a new onboarding plan for new entrants.
Under the Path Forward, agents will also have access to consultation services to help them grow their businesses. This also includes training on exit strategies that will enable retiring advisors to transition their book of business to other advisors looking to grow.
Top producers will have access to revamped benefits, ranging from incentive trips to media training, to a tiered support servicing desk and more.
GTC will also look to further align advisors and suppliers. The business will seek to connect advisors who have client portfolios well aligned with preferred partners, across all sectors from hotel to cruise, to air and destinations.
GTC president Angie Licea said the Path Forward was developed over the past few years, "unlike any others in the history in this industry," which gave the organization time to reinvent its business.
"With our leadership team focused on this mission and positioned in the new account management structure, we look forward to rolling out the enhanced support initiatives that are part of this Path Forward," she added. "I believe creating this environment is critical for our advisors to truly be able to thrive, especially in the tumultuous travel market of today."
