The Family Bonds Foundation is seeking grant applications to help travel professionals affected by Hurricane Helene.

The foundation is the charitable arm of Internova Travel Group. Its president, Jackie Friedman, wrote a message in ASTA's Travel Advisor Daily email on Wednesday.

"The recent devastation from Hurricane Helene has impacted many individuals in our industry, along with their families and communities. We want to help," Friedman wrote. "Do you know someone in the industry who is experiencing difficult times or financial hardships or has been directly affected by Hurricane Helene?"

The Family Bonds Foundation encouraged people who are affected to apply for a grant online. The deadline for the foundation's next grant distribution is Oct. 15.

The foundation is also accepting donations.

"Our industry has heart, and in tough times we come together to help those in need," Friedman said.
