DENVER -- NavigantVacations.com, a leisure e-commerce subsidiary
of Navigant International here, announced a strategic partnership
with American Airlines Vacations to sell tour packages through its
Web site.
The tours are expected to be available for on-line booking via
NavigantVacations.com in mid-May, when the site will be redesigned,
the Web company said.
The redesigned site will include American Airlines Vacations'
booking engine, Navigant's own CruiseCenter.com
and a "friends and family" travel option with basic air, car rental
and hotel booking tools, the company said.
NavigantVacations.com was formed as a Navigant subsidiary a year
ago, and a minority interest was sold to Och-Ziff Capital
Management Group in October.
Och-Ziff's $15 million investment can be converted to a stake of
about 22.5%, NavigantVacations.com said.
