Host agency Nexion has launched its new technology platform,
MyNexion, a member portal that will include CRM and accounting functionality
when rollout is complete.
The platform was officially launched during Nexion's annual
CoNexion conference, Sept. 16-19 at the Hilton Riverside New Orleans. MyNexion
was originally announced during CoNexion 2015.
MyNexion replaces Nexion's former member portal, WebView.
Its initial offering was introduced in July and included a new member portal.
Shortly after, MyNexion saw the addition of PinSight 2.0, the newest version of
parent company Travel Leaders Group's proprietary hotel booking interface.
In the coming weeks, MyNexion's CRM platform will be rolled
out, which integrates with Travel Leaders Group's marketing solutions like
websites, email and direct mail marketing campaigns, and a lead-generation
tool.
At the beginning of next year, the final phase of MyNexion
will be added, giving Nexion members a centralized location for their
accounting needs like vendor receipts and payments, billing and GDS integration.
Nexion president Jackie Friedman said the platform is
designed to help agents build their businesses.
"Doing this in multiple phases allows us to roll it out
more gradually so that we can do a better job, and they can do a better job of
integrating it," Friedman said.
Nexion also announced an expansion of one-on-one coaching
for members who attend any of the host agency's multi-day educational events.
The events surround topics like group sales, romance travel and marketing.
Agents can meet with their coaches online and via phone,
with topics ranging from how to grow sales to writing a business plan. Coaches
will have a variety of expertise in travel and business. For example, one might
be a social media expert, while another might be an expert in selling cruises.
Experts are either internal Nexion staff or suppliers.
