So far, 2023 is far outpacing 2019 for Virtuoso.
"Across all sectors, Virtuoso's 2023 bookings are up 52% from where they were for the same period in 2019 leading into 2020, which was considered the high-water mark for travel," the consortium said in a release.
Virtuoso also said leisure hotel aggregated bookings for 2023, made in 2022, were 135% higher than 2020 bookings made in 2019. Those bookings reflect "record-high" ADRs, according to Virtuoso. Leisure ADRs are more than $1,800 during peak travel times this summer.
Indeed, Virtuoso said that July 2023 is pacing 83% higher than the same month in 2019.
Virtuoso shared those figures at its recent U.S. Forum at the Fairmont San Francisco.
