Virtuoso announced Wednesday that it has selected David Kolner to be its next senior vice president of global member partnerships.
In that post, Kolner will lead the travel consortium's efforts to develop relationships with more than 355 agency partners and their 9,000 agents in 28 countries.
Kolner, a seven-year veteran at Virtuoso, assumes the post after serving as the consortium's senior vice president, consumer, where he headed up key company initiatives, including a revamping of the Virtuoso.com website. He was also responsible for the management and utilization of the company's data warehouse, Composer Reports.
“David’s technology, product development, and innovation focus, including a refreshed perspective on agency operations and adviser productivity, makes him an ideal leader of the Global Member Partnerships division,” Virtuoso Chairman and CEO Matthew Upchurch said in a statement. “We look forward to using his skills to help our current members grow their businesses, while welcoming more new agencies and advisers across the globe to discover the benefits of Virtuoso.”
