Inntopia has acquired Ryan
Solutions, provider of a CRM platform for destinations and resorts.
Ryan Solutions uses transactional,
demographic, survey and social media data to improve its clients' marketing
efforts.
Inntopia provides reservation
systems for destinations and resorts. It is a subsidiary of Northstar Travel
Group, Travel Weekly's parent company.
Like Inntopia, Ryan Solutions is particularly strong in the
ski industry. The two companies already share roughly half their client
base. Ryan Solutions, based in Edwards, Colo., was founded in 2004;
Inntopia is headquartered in Stowe, Vt.
Inntopia CEO Trevor Crist said the combination "offers our
partners a broader set of technology solutions to drive engagement, bookings
and loyalty."
The founders of Ryan
Solutions will continue with the combined Inntopia/Ryan Solutions business.

businesses to create a fast-growing, diversified software and services business
for our markets."
Northstar Travel Media CEO Tom Kemp called the Inntopia/Ryan
Solutions merger "another important step in the transformation of
Northstar into a marketing solutions and technology company serving all key
segments of the travel industry."
