Routehappy has expanded its agreement with Expedia Inc. to provide
rich content for flight-shopping results via the Routehappy Hub API.
Expedia already uses Routehappy's Scores & Amenities API
to display flight amenities, like food and entertainment, next to flight scores
from Routehappy.
Now, Expedia will integrate Routehappy's Universal Product
Attributes (UPAs) and Universal Ticket Attributes (UTAs) via its Hub API.
With UPA, Expedia will be able to display photos, videos and
cabin tours. UTA will enable a display of information about airline fare
benefits and restrictions from the airlines and ATPCO.
"These advanced rich-content tools from Routehappy give
airlines a targeted way to tell their product stories and provide a rich,
comprehensive, and more informed shopping experience for flyers,"
Routehappy said in a statement.
The UPA and UTA products are expected to be launched on
Expedia "in the near future."
