Sabre subscribers once again have access to Emirates content.

The two companies announced a new distribution agreement, ending an impasse that had resulted in Emirates tickets and ancillary products not being available in Sabre's GDS since July 1. The agreement is in effect.

Along with distributing content on Sabre through legacy GDS Edifact technology, Emirates will also begin distributing NDC-enabled offers through Sabre.

Sabre said Emirates content has been reintroduced without surcharges. Emirates enacted a surcharge of $14 to $25 for GDS bookings on July 1, but also announced an agreement that day under which Travelport-connected agencies would be exempt from the fee

Emirates had implemented the GDS surcharge in conjunction with its launch of an NDC-powered direct-connect portal for travel agencies.
