Sabre said Doug Barnett will succeed retiring CFO Rick
Simonson on July 23. Barnett will also hold the title of executive vice
president.
Simonson in January announced his intent to retire this year.
Barnett comes to Sabre from cloud data management company
Informatica, where he was the CFO. Before his time at Informatica, he held
various positions, including CFO, at TriZetto Corporate and UGS Corporation.
He will be on Sabre's earnings call
on July 31 with Simonson and president and CEO Sean Menke.
Menke thanked Simonson for five years at Sabre, during which he
helped the company through its IPO and oversaw a number of divestitures and
acquisitions.
"Doug's finance, technology and operational expertise makes him
the ideal CFO to help build upon Sabre's robust foundation and execute the next
phase of our strategy underpinned by our strong, flexible capital structure,"
Menke said of Barnett.
