Travelport has signed a new distribution agreement with
Frontier Airlines, enabling the airline to continue to distribute its fares via
Travelport’s Travel Commerce Platform.
The previous agreement expired on Dec. 31, 2015,
according to Bill Florence, Travelport’s Americas senior corporate
communications manager. He said the company does not disclose details of
agreements with airlines, but the agreement with Frontier is “long term.”
The Travel Commerce Platform has over 400 airlines available and
around 100 of those are low-cost carriers, said Chris Engle, Travelport’s vice
president of air commerce for the Americas.
