Tripadvisor is teaming up with HBO Max to celebrate Pride month in June with the Pride Guide.
The Pride Guide is a content hub on Tripadvisor highlighting experiences for the LGBTQ+ community while traveling. Among other things, it will feature a Q&A with Tripadvisor’s LGBTQ+ travel experts about travel in 2021 and post-pandemic, as well as a guide highlighting global Pride celebrations. Simultaneously, curated content will be available to stream on HBO Max via its “Shine On” spotlight page.
Christine Maguire, vice president of Tripadvisor’s global media business, said that Pride will be different this year than pre-Covid, but opportunities to celebrate in local communities abound.
“That’s what is so exciting about the partnership with HBO Max — we can combine useful and relevant travel guidance for the LGBTQIA+ community with curated movies and shows that help educate and bring Pride to life for viewers,” she said.
