CALGARY, Alberta
-- Canadian low-fare carrier WestJet signed an agreement with
Amadeus in early April to put the airlines entire inventory on the
GDS. WestJet already is available on the other GDSs.
WestJet will
become available on the Amadeus "in the coming weeks," the airline
and GDS said.
WestJet said the
deal will help "increase our market presence through thousands of
travel agents who previously did not have GDS access to our
friendly, low-fare service."
