The Lufthansa Allegris First Class Suite, which was launched in 2024, has been awarded the Red Dot Award in the Product Design 2026 category. The award is presented annually to products across 52 categories that demonstrate outstanding design quality, innovation, functionality, and ergonomics.
The Allegris First Class Suite was designed by the design agency PriestmannGoode, which receives the award together with Lufthansa.
The Lufthansa Allegris First Class has two individual suites and the Suite Plus. The separate cabins, featuring floor-to-ceiling walls and closeable doors. Guests can adjust the temperature of their three-feet, four-inches-wide seats in the suite and connect their own smartphone or tablet to the entertainment system.
Other good things? There’s a 32-inch screen, wireless over-ear headphones, and a personal en-suite wardrobe.
Suite Plus details
The more spacious Suite Plus accommodations works well for solo travelers seeking maximum space and complete privacy, as well as for couples who wish to enjoy their flight together in a shared suite. Two seats can be converted into one double bed; there’s also a large-screen TV.
Guests can currently experience Lufthansa Allegris on two aircraft types: the Airbus A350-900 from Munich and the Boeing 787-9 from Frankfurt.

With 10 A350-900s and twelve Boeing 787-9s currently in scheduled service, the Allegris fleet is growing steadily. This fall, the new Airbus A350-1000 will become the next aircraft type to feature Allegris, and the new Boeing 777-9 will begin flying with the cabin starting in the spring of next year.
By the end of 2026, a total of 35 aircraft departing from Frankfurt and Munich will be in service with Allegris on board.
