An established brand in the
Cancun market has tapped into a niche market to appeal to upscale travelers who
seek more bang for their peso.
Oasis Hotels & Resorts,
with eight all-inclusive properties from Cancun to Tulum, launched the Pyramid,
a new room category set in a separate 260-room building within the grounds of the
Grand Oasis Cancun and Oasis Cancun resorts.
“The Pyramid is not a newbuild.
Previously it was part of the Grand Oasis Cancun but is now a special category
assigned for the highest-level guest experience for the niche traveler who
enjoys the convenience of the all-inclusive concept but also seeks upscale
resort experiences,” said Enrique Klein, vice president, sales and marketing
for Oasis.
Guest benefits at the Pyramid
include complimentary rounds of golf at the resort’s nine-hole course,
guaranteed early check-in and late checkout, private VIP lounge and upgraded
minibar items.
Nine of the 29 restaurants at
the resort complex are accessible only to Pyramid guests; three of the 22 bars
are reserved for Pyramid guests, as well.

The Pyramid is a new category set in a separate building at the complex in Cancun that includes the Grand Oasis Cancun and Oasis Cancun.
The Pyramid has been
renovated and upgraded, and its room options include 238 deluxe rooms, 14
junior suites and eight master suites.
In addition to the 260 rooms
at the Pyramid, the room count includes 879 rooms at the Oasis Cancun and 613
rooms at the Grand Oasis Cancun.
