ARC is contemplating changes to its pilot program, under which
corporate travel departments can become accredited and tell the
agencies they had been working with to go stuff it in their ticket
jackets. (I'm paraphrasing imaginatively, of course.) Sorry,
corporate agencies, but getting rid of the program altogether is
not among the changes that ARC is contemplating.
The DOT is aiming to finalize its policy on airline competition
by the first quarter of next year. Of course, by that time,
there'll probably be just one giant airline, anyway, so the point
will be moot.
Hard Rock Cafe owner Peter Morton paid about $59,000 for a dress
owned by former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, aka "Ginger Spice." It
makes one wonder if Morton noticed the word "former."
