The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) named
Frank Comito as CEO and director general, replacing Jeff Vasser who
stepped down in December 2014.
Comito will assume the post on March 9.

The announcement was made at CHTA's annual
Marketplace, taking place this week at the Puerto Rico Convention Center
in San Juan.
Comito most recently served as vice president of
the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association, a position he held for more than 10
years.
He currently serves as an officer and member of
the board of directors for the Downtown Nassau Partnership.
He also held the post of deputy chairman of the
board for the Bahamas Airport Authority and the Nassau Airport Development Co., where he
helped guide the $410 million redevelopment of the Lynden Pindling Airport.
