Frontier Airlines has launched service to Jamaica from three U.S. cities, with a fourth new route coming in the spring.

The airline began nonstop service from Denver to Montego Bay's Sangster Airport. The carrier said the flight, which operates three times a week, is the only nonstop service from Denver. Additionally, the airline has inaugurated thrice-weekly flights to St. Louis and a weekly flight from Chicago Midway.

Frontier said it also plans to launch service from Dallas in May. That addition will bring the carrier's total of Jamaica routes from the U.S. to nine.

"These new services will provide ever easier ways for our visitors to get to our shores and begin to connect with our rich culture and scenic adventures," said Donovan White, director of tourism of the Jamaica Tourist Board.
