People traveling between Antigua and Barbuda now have another option to the 90-minute crossing on the Barbuda Express catamaran service.
The new Lady Caroline is an air-conditioned ferry with a capacity of 370 passengers, a full-service bar, flat screen TV, a sundeck and wheelchair-accessible restroom facilities.
Travel time is less than one hour, and the one-way fare is $75. The schedule calls for an 8 a.m. departure from Antigua, with a 6 p.m. return.
The Barbuda Express has daily service, departing from St. John's harbor at 9 a.m., and departing Barbuda 4 p.m.; it is priced at $45 one way for adults and $25 for children.
