Two Caribbean resorts are welcoming new members to their management teams.

The Sonesta St. Maarten, which comprises the Sonesta Ocean Point Resort and the family-oriented Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa, has appointed Sjors Martins resort manager.
Martins was previously hotel manager at the Suriname-based Torarica
Group. Additional hospitality experience includes opening the DoubleTree
by Hilton Doha – Al Sadd, Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences and
Hilton Batumi in Georgia. Martins held a variety of positions across
European properties early in his career.

At the Mandarin Oriental Canouan in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Hemal Jain is the new general manager.
Previously, Jain served as general manager at the Virtuoso-affiliated Alila Villas Uluwatu and Alila Manggis, both in Bali, Indonesia. Jain held front-office positions with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Mumbai and Doha and at Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in the Himalayas (Wildflower Hall) and in Agra, India (Trident Agra).
