The Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences on St. Lucia officially debuted La Belle Helene, a sprawling 13,000-square-foot private estate, on March 28.

The name is a tribute to St. Lucia's nickname, "Helen of the West," after the mythical Helen of Troy, a reference to the island's beauty and position as a sought-after colony.

The opening follows Windjammer Landing's $40 million renovation, completed in 2025, which included upgrades to the villa suites, the main pool area and the lobby, plus the addition of the Presidential Manor and Ocean Point Residences.

La Belle Helene features French-inspired architecture, private sports courts and a lagoon-style pool with a stone grotto.

On the island's southwestern coast with direct views of the iconic Pitons, the estate offers total seclusion while providing guests access to Windjammer Landing amenities, including seven dining destinations, the Serene Spa and watersports.

Hotel officials report that Windjammer Landing is the first brand on the island to offer luxury villa experiences on St. Lucia's northwest and southwest coasts. The expansion allows guests to experience two unique coastal environments under a single, unified brand.
