Carnival Cruise Line is moving a fourth ship to Galveston in 2024 to offer what it calls "Texas-sized" sailings of nine to 12 days.
The Carnival Miracle will relocate from California to Texas on Oct. 1, 2024, with a Panama Canal repositioning voyage from San Francisco that calls in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; and Cartagena, Colombia.
Once in Galveston, the 2,124-passenger ship will sail western, southern and eastern Caribbean itineraries and Panama Canal sailings from Oct. 16, 2024, through the spring of 2025.
Moving the Miracle to Galveston will enable Carnival to offer a range of four- through 12-day sailings out of the Texas port.
The Miracle will join the Carnival Breeze sailing four- and five-day cruises; the Carnival Dream sailing mostly six- and eight-day cruises; and the new Carnival Jubilee, which will arrive in December 2023 and sail weeklong Western Caribbean cruises.
