Cruise passenger caught swine flu, Colorado confirms

A woman who had been on a Mexico cruise out of San Diego was one of Colorado's first two confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus (swine flu) in Colorado.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment reported that the woman, in her 30s, had spent several days in San Diego as well as on the cruise, and did not require hospitalization.

There are eight reported cases of H1N1 flu in San Diego County, half of California’s 16 cases. The report did not say what cruise ship the woman was on.
