Crystal Cruises has secured financing for two of its three ships on order, the cruise line announced Tuesday.

The ships will each support about 650 passengers and weigh 61,800 gross tons, according to the cruise line. Each suite will feature a private veranda.

A year ago, Crystal announced that it had signed a memorandum of agreement with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri for two ships and expected delivery of the first in the spring of 2028. By November, it had firmed up an order for a third coming in 2032.

There will be a promenade around the perimeter of the ships, and restaurants will include Umi Uma and Beefbar.

"Securing this financing represents a decisive step forward in Crystal's expansion and demonstrates the strong market confidence in our strategy," said Manfredi Lefebvre d'Ovidio, executive chairman of Crystal parent company A&K Travel Group, per a press release.

A&K Travel Group acquired Crystal after the line ceased operations in 2022 and returned the line to service in 2023.
