Crystal's third upcoming newbuild is now scheduled for delivery in 2034, two years later than the original estimated delivery date.

The vessel will be a sister ship to the Crystal Grace, scheduled to launch in 2028, and a second newbuild coming in May 2031. Each will support 650 guests at double occupancy.

The contract with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri for the third vessel is now effective. Crystal announced in 2024 that it had firmed up the order, which had been an option under the initial two-ship agreement. At the time, it set delivery tentatively for 2032.

Cristina Levis, the CEO of Crystal owner A&K Travel Group, said the "response to Crystal Grace has exceeded our expectations."

The ship's inaugural voyage will depart Civitavecchia, Italy, on June 11, 2028. The Grace's first summer season will be on the Mediterranean. In the fall, it will sail a New England and Eastern Canada series, followed by Bermuda and Caribbean voyages out of Fort Lauderdale.
