Cunard Line's steakhouse experiment on the Queen Mary 2 last
summer has become a permanent feature on its three ships, occupying the
Verandah restaurant.
The new Steakhouse at the Verandah serves USDA prime New
York strip steak, Maine lobster and Alaskan king crab. It also has
dishes celebrating British provenance such as Scotch
grass-fed, dry-aged beef and Salt Marsh lamb rack. Wagyu beef from Australia is also on the menu.
A new menu of craft cocktails is available at the
Verandah bar. Wines have been picked to pair well with steak, Cunard said.
The surcharge for dining remains $25 for lunch and $39 for
dinner.
