Startup luxury cruise line Explora Journeys has partnered with Steinway & Sons, which will supply three Steinway Spirio player pianos for the Explora I.
Starting this summer with Explora I's maiden journey in Northern Europe and Arctic Circle, acclaimed and up-and-coming pianists will perform onboard.
On a cruise departing Quebec City on Oct. 3, Explora says four celebrated Steinway artists will perform. The sailing ends in New York on Oct. 13, when guests will be able to tour Steinway's workshops in Queens. Lunch will be accompanied by music performed by a Steinway artist.
