Royal Caribbean has firm orders for the sixth and seventh Icon-class ships

Royal Caribbean has placed a firm order for the sixth and seventh Icon-class ships with Finnish shipbuilder Meyer Turku. They are scheduled for delivery in 2029 and 2030.

Last year, the cruise company announced a firm order for the fifth ship in the class

The third Icon ship, Legend of the Seas, will debut this July in the Mediterranean and the fourth, Hero of the Seas, will arrive in Miami in August 2027.

Royal Caribbean has a long-term agreement with Meyer Turku in Finland that secures space at the shipyard through 2036. The Icon-class ships, which are the largest cruise ships in the world, are the largest industrial projects in Finland.
