Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line said that federal workers who are not getting paid because of the partial government shutdown can get a free buffet lunch and afternoon on its ships.

The offer applies to furloughed federal employees and families and is available noon to 3 p.m. through Jan. 31 (except Jan. 25 and 26), unless the shutdown ends before the end of January.

The lunch is available on both of the line's ships, the Grand Celebration and the Grand Classica. Bahamas Paradise sails out of Palm Beach, Fla.

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line requests that federal employees call customer service at (800) 374-4363 to reserve their lunch and visit and that they provide a federal ID at port terminal visitor check in.
