Lindblad Expeditions appointed travel agency veteran Gina Gabbard as chief sales officer, a newly created position in which she will direct the company's strategic sales growth with a focus on the retail travel sector and group sales.
Gabbard has 25 years of experience with travel companies, most recently as senior vice president of leisure and independent advisors at Ovation Travel Group and prior to that as vice president of leisure at Tzell Travel Group.

In a statement, Gabbard said, "I look forward to utilizing the unique insights I have gained working intimately with the travel advisor community to support the continued growth of our business."
She has also held various sales positions with MLT Vacations, Adam's Mark Hotels, Marriott Hotels and Promus Hotel Corp.
