MSC Cruises has launched Port Info, a one-stop destination
support service.
The Port Info service debuted on the MSC Meraviglia when the
ship launched in June. There are plans to extend the service to the entire fleet.
Port Info offers guests information on what to see, where to
eat, where to visit and how to get there while in port. The desk will also help
guests book local transportation such as train tickets, taxis or a car service,
as well as assist in creating private tours and experiences.
Port Info will also highlight local events, festivals and
parades, enabling guests to discover local culture and traditions.
MSC said Port Info was developed through collaboration with
local authorities and tourism boards.
