More Lesbos port calls canceled: Travel Weekly

Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises said they will substitute new ports of call or days at sea for planned calls at Mytilene on the Greek island of Lesbos.

The island has seen an influx of refugees from Turkey escaping turmoil in Syria.

Seven Seas Mariner’s scheduled stop on Sept. 17 will be replaced with a day at sea, while its Sept. 29 stop will be replaced with a call in Kavala, Greece.

Kavala will also replace the Seven Seas Voyager’s scheduled call on Oct. 29 and the Oceania Nautica’s scheduled call on Oct. 6.

The lines said they continue to monitor the situation closely and will make future itinerary changes if warranted.
