Sales executive Nikki Upshaw departs Oceania Cruises: Travel Weekly

Oceania Cruises senior vice president of global sales Nikki Upshaw has left the cruise line, an Oceania spokesman said Tuesday.

Her last day was Friday, Jan. 10. She was just shy of reaching 15 years at Oceania.

No successor has been named. Sales leadership will report to Oceania president Frank A. Del Rio for the immediate future.

"Nikki's amazing career in the travel industry spans nearly four decades, and she has been a tireless champion of travel and travel advisors. Nikki leaves us with some of the strongest and most vibrant relationships in the industry," Del Rio wrote in a letter to travel advisors.

Upshaw's departure happened the same week that Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings announced a leadership shakeup over upscale brands Oceania and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Jason Montague was hired to oversee both brands beginning Feb. 17.
